1-1-1 OMFG! Fire Therrien! Hire Boucher!

Jessica Alba for me all the way. But I have a real weakness for big brown eyes a la Alyssa Milano, Teri Hatcher, Halle Berry, the evil queen on Once Upon a Time, etc. Maybe that's why I love a good steak too?!

      I agree!
      It's time to panic!
On a more serious note, why doesn't Lego shoot?
He skated around all the large range animals at least twice in a spectacular display and then phhhhttttt nothing.
I don't like the look of this new Buffalo coach he has an evil twisted look. I'll bet he tortures small animals in his basement.
      I hate Mondays.
      Go Habs!

Bring back Kovy for one last kick at the can, he's younger than Jagr. Put him with Lego and gCHuk and put CHeese back on the 4th line.

    2. I don't know if you saw his interview from the charity game yesterday, but he was not at all happy about retiring. He was clearly forced to do so. Let Kovy play!

  10. Demers also recalls the day he was fired only five games into the 1995-96 season, saying he never saw it coming, that it left him in tears and that it took him a long time to get over it. The firing also came on the same day as his daughter’s birthday. He also says the decision to fire Serge Savard as general manager led to the downfall of the Canadiens and the 20-year Stanley Cup drought.

Some people are saying the Penguins are (did) giving up too much for UFA's like Brenden Morrow and now Douglas Murray from the Sharks. Like, how fucking stupid are these people? You have a team presently on a 12 FUCKING GAME WINNING STREAK with two of the best 5 players in the world and you give up an AHL prospect and two picks who may or may not ever play for your team. So, Penguins management are sitting around saying: "Gee, do you think maybe we should go for it?" Hell yeah!

Is Montreal in the same position? Hell No! Stay the course MB, Habs fans want to be in that position in a few years, not that they will have two of the top 5 in the world. It would be nice to be a contender instead of a pretender though.

The only 'rental' that intrigues me is Jagr. We've seen again and again how well he and Plex play together. I'd love to see the Habs version. Get Jagr to help take down the mighty Pens. He'd like that.

For the first time, while watching RDS the other night I saw a french commercial for KFC. To be honest, being a hick from the Maritimes, I don't even know the history of why fried chicken is synonomous with the African American culture, or why it seems to be an insult to insinuate such a thing. I just always assumed they really fuckin' liked fried chicken. Who doesn't?! Same thing with watermelons. I remember laughing my ass off at the Bigot family on Bizaar, not even knowing why it was all so funny. I'm just a dumb naive redneck fuck I guess. Anyway I just realized en francais, KFC is PFK. CAtching up. Slow learner. BTW if there's a better reason, I don't need to know. I'm happy in my ignorance, thank you.

  20. “When you get on that plane or, like me, you drive up, you feel by yourself,” said Halpern. “It’s an isolated feeling. “But to be able to walk into a room and see Brian Gionta, Travis Moen, Josh Gorges, P.K. Subban — these are all guys I’ve kept in touch with — they’re good smiles to see. These are guys I enjoyed playing with. You want to do well for those guys because they’re good friends and teammates.” ~ CHallah

    1. “To come back to a place I enjoyed so much is a good pick-me-up,” Halpern said.

His old colleagues are glad to have him back. Halpern was a popular player among teammates and fans two seasons ago when he had 11 goals and 26 points in 72 games. He returned to his first club, the Washington Capitals, as a free agent after that season and then signed with New York last summer.

“He’s a great guy,” said Subban. “When Halpy was here he got a chance to sit down and talk to my dad a bit, so my dad was pretty fired up when we brought him back.

“He’s a good veteran. He’ll be an important guy down the stretch.”

  29. I guess the first tie-breaker is Regulation+OT wins and NOT total wins, so Habs keep 2nd spot. Eat shit, you goon bastards and all your mediot lovers. Ohhhhh, TSN, broons ranked #3. Get your hands out of your pants, you losers.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I also think it's hilarious that 2 weeks ago leaf fans (and their media) were bemoaning the loser point, it's so unfair, leaf don't need them! Now it's all about character, fighting for that one point, very tough! I really can't wait to see the tears when they finish 10th in the last week.

According to the mediots, even though the Bruins are the class of the east with the exception of the pens, Iginla might put them over the top. Might as well mail it in boys. No point in even trying now. Iggy will obviously get traded to and become saviour of the SSTB's. Even in games, yet still not ahead of the Habs. Something does not compute.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Of course, first leaf goal was an obvious offside non-call. Like, blind men could see it obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  33. As much as I hate the beaners, I fuckin' despise the leaf even more so I am ok with a b's win last night. Should have been in regulation but never mind.

    Go Habs Go!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, the win in SO kept the Habs ahead of the broons, so there's that. Don't worry, the leaf will fail on their own. Just treading water now.
